It's been awhile since I've updated this blog, but felt it was time for some words. I have, against my better judgement (perhaps) started a new FB page after a nearly 5 month restriction of my account for supposed "community standard violations" which were both ridiculous and absurd. I'm going to give FB one more chance, despite the fact it utterly sucks, and that is with my new page MENTAL POP.  

Likewise, I am also smack dab in the middle of producing a 5 hour (4 part) podcast dedicated to the history of horror and the supernatural from roughly 6000BC to 2021AD. Part 3, covering the years 1900 to 1970, will be posted this coming week through https://anchor.fm/conspiraporn , and can also be found at SPOTIFY/CONSPIRAPORN and is the official podcast of www.conspiraporn.com . I've put out about 10 episodes in the past couple of months, covering everything from cave art to black holes to topics of censorship and the New World Order, so hope you'll check it out. Likewise, I haven't really been updating CONSPIRAPORN too much, but I will get back into regular updates soon.

And last but not least, all of my original artwork can be found (and is for sale) at www.geneticmemory.online. I've been working a full time job while also trying to keep things updated and be creative, but it has been a challenge. This post is basically to leave word that I'm still here, still planning, still plotting, doing a regular podcast and have a new zine in mind for publication ASAP.

I know I'm mostly talking to myself here, but an update seemed necessary... ;)

A NOTE ABOUT PODCAST #4

Just wanted to take a moment to comment on the CONSPIRAPORN podcast which was posted yesterday. What?! There is a CONSPIRAPORN podcast?! Why, yes there is! And I'll be putting out a new episode every week or so and discussing a wide variety of topics, as well as news and infotainment of the weird variety. Thanks to those who are already checking it out, and I hope you'll stay tuned...!

Yesterday's episode runs about 30 mins in length and, albeit a little clumsily and incomplete, it covers topics such as The Cave Mystery Schools, the Birth of Mythology, Shamanism in Ancient History, and the use of Psychedelics and Altered States of Consciousness in Prehistory. At some point it might be nice to organize things a little better, expand it to an hour in length, and make it into a video to more readily convey the ideas and information that it contains. A video with relevant pictures and images coinciding to the topics being discussed would be very beneficial in conveying the message. 

That being said, it was the first episode I've really taken "seriously" in terms of being an outlet for information and the discussion of items of interest that really speak to me, and which I feel are deserving of more attention. I'm sure there are many people who will find the discussion of 40,000 year old cave art to be a little bland, or perhaps my presentation of this history, but nonetheless the information is important and I hope there are a handful of people out there who may gain a little insight or their imaginations might start flowing because of episodes such as these.

Likewise, I hope people will feel inclined to hit me up with further discussion, opinions, theories, comments and critiques! I make these podcasts as an outlet for myself, but part of that is in trying to "find an audience" and appeal to some of the news and infotainment that they would like to hear covered through this humble little broadcast. Moving forward, I am open to most all topics and suggestions!

CORRECTION: I accidentally and inaccurately stated the timeframe of the cave art known as THE SORCERER to being from 1300BC instead of 13,000BC. I regret the error, but I was throwing around a lot of information and historic dates in yesterday's episode and that slipped by me until after I had already uploaded the program. ;)

SOME GETTING USED TO

I haven't blogged in years. Nor have I had my own website in just about as long.

I, like most people, have merely been involved in the cesspool of social media for the past decade (which is sad, when you really think about it).

I have always kept a paper journal, but never a public forum which was personal and not based on views or shares or likes (or memes).

Since the censorship and deletion of my primary community FB page recently, due to "community standard violations" which was nothing but utterly absurd bullshit meant to silence my viewpoints, I no longer have the potential reach of those 10,000 members, nor the upwards of 100,000+ weekly page reach that I routinely had through shares and reposts. 

Which is fine, it's for the best. Social media, and FB in general is truly terrible and has become nothing but either divisive garbage, endless disinformation, or complete censorship and endless flagging of "unsafe" viewpoints. It won't be long before FB has become as defunct as Myspace, and the world will be better for that.

I'm actually thankful for the unpublishing of my page, because it was the motivation I needed to try blogging again, and start some new websites (which are still in the developmental "tweaking" stages).

I am in a stage of reevaluation of my personal and creative identity, as we ALL should probably be.

FB is the retirement community of the internet and where social media goes to die...

It's been a long time since i've felt really "fired up" and motivated to push forward with renewed energy and focus. Certain things are slowly but surely aligning in my creative life on multiple fronts, and it's been a minute since i was really able to see a fuller picture and perspective on a plan of artistic attack.

And realistically be able to meet those goals. I have no delusions on grandeur or hopes of fame. This is all a form of self expression and to resonate with certain social vibes and some good people.  

Two new websites are now up dedicated to this "cause", a new zine will be available shortly, a mass sticker campaign, new music, a fuck-ton of my original art which will be made available, and several charity benefits.

And newly added to this, and available ASAP,  will be weekly podcasts (10 or 15 mins each), that will speak towards a wide variety of topics. It will be simple and personal, but a good outlet to speak with YOU, if you so choose to listen.

I can't lie, i do want an "audience" (this is still "social media", after all), but i am now content with the idea of 100 truly interested friends and intellectual and spiritual contemporaries, as opposed to 10,000 fake accounts on Facebook or Twitter.

Let us move forward in personal growth and alchemical transmutation!
