Deep in the cave, ancient and recently unearthed, the walls were adorned with innumerable complex mathematical equations and intricate geometrical designs which dated to over one hundred thousand years gone.
Discovered by accident due to a recent earthquake which exposed the mouth, the find, deemed an impossibility, was no less a reality than were the dozens of translucent giants, humanoids measuring ten feet in length, who greeted the archeologists upon their arrival.
The lost race explained in their strange language, leading deeper into the elaborate cave system: "The Earth is a machine, and you're about to enter the control room."
